Yes, This Post Is About Losing Weight…

So as most of you know, I’ve been battling my own inner demons about the weight I’ve gained over the last year. As most of you also know, I’ve tried a few fasts, a few crash diets, and a few more “healthy” lifestyle alterations to lose the extra poundage. It seems all I can do is add to the girth, rather than take from it, and it’s starting to get me down a little.

So now, I’m trying the goal-driven approach. Erin’s birthday is in ten days. A bunch of girls are going down to Toronto to fucking tear it up, hardcore. There is a little black dress that I bought in Melbourne, that I’ve never worn because it no longer fits. My goal is to lose the inches (maybe 2 or 3) around the waist and thighs to fit into that dress for my sojourn to T.O.

This is the plan: The delicious and ever fulfilling Raw Food Diet. My meals will consist mainly of raw fruits and veggies, with a bit of fish and lean meats, and no grain or dairy. Maybe a piece of toast in the morning, or something token like that. Also, Angelo lent me his rollers, and a bike, so I’ve got my very own stationary bike set up in my apartment. It’s awesome. No wind or road resistance, a monitor that gauges your speed and distance, the whole thing. I’m super stoked for it. So much better than listening to that bible-thumping bitch on the Exercise Tape!!

Oh, here’s the motivation: the Before, and Before-Before shots… This is what I looked like a couple of years ago…
And this is what I look like now…

We’ll see how the After shot looks! Ten days, baby. I’ll take a picture of me in my dress. Yowza!
